Thomas L. Klein

Thomas L. Klein began practicing law in 1981 as an associate with the firm of Edwards & Klein, Co., L.P.A. Now the managing partner, Mr. Klein focuses primarily in the fields of corporate and business law, estate planning and probate administration, and real estate law, including residential and commercial transactions. 

Mr. Klein is currently licensed to practice law in all courts within the states of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, and American Bar Associations.
 
 

Sara B. Klein

Sara B. Klein previously served as a clerk to U.S. District Judge Robert J. Staker for the Southern District of West Virginia. She has also been a frequent educator at several universities on multiple topics.

Ms. Klein joined the firm in 1987. Her areas of practice include real estate and probate administration. She is also the managing partner of our affiliated corporation, BesTitle Agency, Inc., which handles the majority of our real estate transactions.

Ms. Klein is currently licensed to practice law in all courts within the states of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals, fourth and sixth circuit. She is a member of the Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia Bar Associations.
 
  

Curtis B. Anderson

A partner in the firm, Curtis B. Anderson focuses his practice in the areas of corporate and business law, estate planning and probate administration, and federal taxation. He has previous experience in private practice and as an assistant to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Mr. Anderson is licensed to practice law in all courts within the states of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia, as well as the U.S. Tax Court and the Southern District Court of West Virginia, fourth circuit. In addition to being a member of the Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia Bar Associations, he is on the Trust and Probate Committee for the State of Ohio, the Probate Committee for the State of West Virginia, and the Greater Huntington Estate Planning Council. He frequently speaks on the subject of estate planning.

Mr. Anderson is a previous Chairman of the Board for the Foundation for the Tri-State Community. He is currently serving on the Chesapeake, Ohio, School Board by judicial appointment.
  
  

Dru A. Shope

Dru A. Shope is a partner with the firm, focusing his practice on the representation of individuals seeking benefits under the Social Security Act. Mr. Shope represents claimants in various administrative tribunals, including the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearings and Appeals in Huntington and Charleston, West Virginia; Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton, Ohio; and Lexington, Kentucky.

Attorney Dru A. Shope has successfully represented individuals seeking Social Security benefits for over twenty years. Attorney Shope and his staff are only focused on representing claimants seeking benefits under the Social Security disability programs. Each and every appointment scheduled with our firm shall be with an attorney, not a non-attorney representative, legal assistant or secretary.

Attorney Shope handles all types of disability claims including Title II Disability Insurance (Workers Disability and Survivors Disability) and Title XVI Supplemental Security Income (SSI-Adult and Children).
